Girl From Sta. Ana

Last week, bumili ako ng album ng The Bloomfields. I like that band, reminds me of The Beatles. Eh likes ko pa naman ang oldies. Naimpluwensyahan ako ng tito ko. Hehehe

Anyway, mayroon silang kanta na ni-revive nila from a Brazilian singer. Yung "Girl From Ipanema". Medyo pinatatamaan ako sa kantang iyon, kasi there is a person na mukhang 'di ako vibes, kaasar.

Basta, yun lang. Kaasar talaga eh.

Eto 'yung lyrics.

Love lots,
CIP

But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at me

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, each one she passes goes “ah”

When she walks, she’s like a samba
She swings so cool and sways so gentle
And when she passes, each one she passes goes “ooh”

[chorus](Ooh) But I watch her so sadly
How can I tell her I love her
Yes, I would give my heart gladly
But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at me

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, I smile, but she doesn’t see

[repeat chorus]

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, I smile, but she doesn’t see

But she doesn’t see
No, she doesn’t see
