Respite

Today, June 24, 2008, we celebrate Manila Day. It is the 437th year that the event is celebrated. Kanina, my friends and I attended a thanksgiving mass for the event. Since walang pasok, it's a time for a long respite na rin. After the typhoon Frank (Fengsheng) ravaged Manila, the skies looked bright again.

After the mass, we went to Manila Zoo. Free ang entrance ngayon kasi Araw ng Maynila nga. Ang daming tao from different walks of life: may mga students, families, teenage couples, and of course, kids.

Sayang nga lang at wala akong nakitang igol (eagle). Hehehe. Wala ding giraffe.

Pero ang daming monkeys.

With love,

cp
